Pandora app gets a facelift, new UI focuses more on personalization
The popular music app Pandora has received a pretty substantial overhaul to its user interface on Android and IOS devices, as the company wants to do more to focus more on personalization and their overall user experience.Pandora is actively tweaking their app to make the experience as smooth as possible for their over 75 million monthly users, and this overhaul appears to be quite a big one.
The changes for the ongoing overhaul features lots of cosmetic adjustments in the form of new animations and transitions, more information on stations, the method that songs are rated (thumbed), new features in receiving specific song information, and an all new Personalization Icon that appears on the top right side of the “Now Playing screen”. This feature seems especially important to the company, as it gives users new ways of viewing ratings, renaming stations, and getting a clearer overview of their listening history.
