Paramount Plus is celebrating its first birthday this week with a special offer. The streaming service, previously known as CBS All Access before getting rebranded to its current name a year ago, is giving new subscribers a way to check out the service for a very low price for a limited time.
From now until the end of the day on Monday, March 7, you can go to the Paramount Plus sign-up page and type in BIRTHDAY as the promo code. You can then get the normal plan (with ads) for just $1 a month for three months, compared to the normal $4.99 a month rate. You can also use the same Paramount Plus deal promo code for the Premium plan, which will lower its cost to just $2 a month for three months, compared to its much higher $9.99 a month price.
The Paramount Plus deal comes just a couple of days before the service starts showing season two of Star Trek: Picard, the next chapter in this continuation of the Star Trek: The Next Generation storyline. It also comes a little over three weeks before the debut of Paramount Plus’s biggest original series yet. Halo, the big-budget sci-fi series based on Microsoft’s hit first-person shooter games, will debut on March 25.
