Peloton is coming to Android TV to help you stay fit at home
Peloton has become a rather popular way to stay in shape, allowing you to remotely take fitness classes. The app is available for Android, Amazon Fire devices, and Apple devices right now, but the Peloton team has just announced another platform.
The exercise app is now available via Android TV, allowing you to take classes in front of your TV set. The Android TV version allows you to work out with others in the household, presumably due to the larger screen experience.
Peloton offers a variety of live and on-demand classes, ranging from yoga and running to strength training and meditation. But the company’s most prominent offering is spinning, using Peloton’s own exercise bike.
Intrigued by the app? You can sign up for a 90-day free trial, although this offer expires on April 30. You can expect to pay $12.99 a month for a single membership once the free trial expires. Otherwise, there’s also a $39 a month multi-user subscription focused on the bike and treadmill.
