Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean movies get adapted into new Tides of War game

Just a few days before Disney releases Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in movie theaters, Android gamers can sail the seven seas with the newly launched mobile game Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War. The strategy game will feature characters and content from all five movies in the Disney franchise.

The game, from developer and publisher Joycity, will allow players to become their own pirate captain as they build ships and train their sailors to battle other ships in online multiplayer battles. Players can also form alliances with friends in the game to battle on the high seas together, and can even team up to take out the massive monsters that occupy the oceans of the movie’s universe. You might even encounter some of the movie’s main characters like Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, and Will Turner.

The game is now available to download from the Google Play Store. While Tides of War is free to play, it does support in-app purchases for buying access to more content and currency.
