Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a launch date may have just been revealed
- A retail listing may have revealed a June launch date for the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a.
- The blue variant of the Pixel Buds A-Series may also launch in June.
- The Pixel Fold may have two storage options: 256GB and 512GB.
Google recently announced that it is holding its annual I/O conference on May 10. Among other potential announcements, it’s expected that the company will finally debut the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a at this event. And if a new leak is true, the launch of these devices won’t be far off from then.
A retail listing regarding the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a appears to have tipped Google’s hand prematurely, according to 9to5Google. The outlet claims that it has seen a leaked listing suggesting a mid-June launch for both handsets. If this is the actual release window for the devices, this would be sooner than usual as the Pixel 6a launched in July after its reveal at Google I/O 2022.
The retail listings reportedly divulged information about the colorways and storage options as well. It looks like the Pixel Fold may come in only two colors. These colorways would be Carbon — a grey or black color — and Porcelain — likely a white or off-white color. The Pixel 7a may also have a Carbon colorway, but will add Cotton and Arctic Blue. However, the Pixel 7a could have a fourth color called Jade, according to Roland Quandt of WinFuture.
As for storage, 9to5Google states that the Fold will be available with 256GB of storage, but it saw a 512GB variant only for the Carbon colorway. On the other hand, the Pixel 7a may only come with a 128GB variant.
Those apparently weren’t the only details revealed, however. There was also a mention of the Pixel Buds A-Series. It appears the blue variant is expected to launch on the same day as the Pixel 7a.
