Update, June 16, 2020 (4:19 AM ET): POCO has been teasing the launch of a new phone in India and everyone hopes it’s the POCO F2 Pro. Now, POCO’s India General Manager, C Manmohan, has revealed a possible launch timeline for the phone.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, the executive said that a new POCO phone will launch in India “in the next 20-25 days.” That means if the unconfirmed device is indeed the POCO F2 Pro, we can expect an India launch in July.
However, as noted in the original article below, the phone could also be the rumored POCO M2 Pro.
Original article, June 3, 2020 (8:30 PM ET): Anyone waiting for a new POCO announcement in India might not have to wait too much longer, as the company released a video teasing a new device that could be the POCO F2 Pro.
The video debuted on the brand’s two-year anniversary, as part of the Make in India initiative. During the video, the company features the words “The next POCO for India” followed by “Coming Soon,” which leads us to believe that this is the company teasing that a new phone is coming to India in the near future.

The POCO F2 Pro, which first launched in other regions in May, hasn’t seen a release in India yet. It seems likely that this could be the phone the company is talking about.
Of course, it’s always possible that it something else entirely such as a yet unannounced device such as the POCO M2 Pro, which has had no shortage of rumors. While POCO has been quiet on the existence of the midrange device, certifications popped up recently all but confirming its existence.
