UK residents can now buy Xiaomi's POCOphone F1 through Amazon UK
- The POCOphone F1 is now available through Amazon U.K.
- U.K. residents can pick up the POCOphone F1 with either 64GB or 128GB of storage.
- The version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is not available.
As fantastic of a value that Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 is, its availability continues to limit its viability as a worthwhile purchase. That changes a bit today, thanks to POCOphone’s announcement that the POCOphone F1 is now available through Amazon U.K.
If you are okay with 64GB of storage, you can get it for 329 pounds (~$432). The 128GB version goes for a slightly higher 349 pounds (~$459). Both versions feature 6GB of RAM and microSD card slots for up to 256GB of additional storage. There is a third version of the POCOphone F1 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, though it looks like that version will not be sold in the U.K.
The prices are quite bit higher than the $300 that the POCOphone F1 starts at in India. That said, the phone still features plenty of hardware for the money. As a quick recap, the POCOphone F1 features a 6.18-inch display with 2,246 x 1,080 resolution, dual rear 12- and 5-megapixel cameras, 20MP front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a 4,000mAh battery, and Android 8.1 Oreo.
The good news for U.K. residents is that the POCOphone F1 supports Band 71. That means full 4G coverage across the U.K.
That means very little to U.S. residents, since the POCOphone F1 is not compatible with Verizon or Sprint. The phone also shows poor compatibility with T-Mobile, with AT&T customers the only ones that will not encounter as many connectivity issues.
