Razor EcoSmart Cargo blurs the line between e-bike and scooter, costs $1,099
- The Razor EcoSmart Cargo is the latest from the brand.
- It is powerful enough to carry you and some cargo, or even you and a friend.
- It will cost $1,099 when it lands at Razor.com.
Some people really want an e-bike. However, some of those people probably know in their hearts that they’re never going to pedal it and are just going to zip around using the electric power.
Razor just launched a new product that seems to be targeted directly at those folks (via The Verge). The Razor EcoSmart Cargo looks a heck of a lot like an e-bike but has no pedals. It’s large enough and sturdy enough to hold a driver and some cargo or even a second rider. It can reach speeds up to 20mph and has a range of up to 16.6 miles. Essentially, this isn’t just a fun toy you take to the park. This could be a car replacement for the right buyer.

The Razor EcoSmart Cargo joins other scooters in Razor’s EcoSmart line. The EcoSmart Metro HD, for example, also allows for some cargo but has lower speeds and less range (and a lower price). The Cargo model, however, is the only scooter that gets as fast and can go for as long while still supporting extra room for cargo.
The Cargo will cost you $1,099. It will be available directly from Razor.com soon.
