We asked, you told us: The best phone of 2019 (so far) is...

We don’t hold our Best of Android Awards until the end of the year, but we thought 2019 was different. There have been so many great phones released in the first half of 2019 that we wanted to ask you, our readers, which one you think is the best.

So, that’s exactly what we did. Last Wednesday, we asked you to vote for the phone (or phones) you think stand out above the rest in early 2019. Wondering which phone won? Check out the results below:

Out of over 2,500 total votes, you have spoken: the Samsung Galaxy S10 line (Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e) are the best phones released so far in 2019. Your pick of the trio? Perhaps not surprisingly, the Galaxy S10 Plus. Following the S10 line at a close second is the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, which received 28.4% of the votes.

After those two options, the numbers significantly drop off from there. The HUAWEI P30 Pro came in at a distant third place with 12.1% of the votes, while fourth place with 9.2% of the votes went to the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL.

Update: To drill down into exactly which Galaxy S10 variant you liked the most, we asked you to vote again. The result wasn’t exactly a surprise, but the strong showing made by all three variants was a pretty strong testament to the quality of the series overall. Here are those results in detail for you:

• I like my S10 but wished it had dual stereo speakers built in like my old HTChad. Then I would love it more.
• IF I had to to pick one, I’d go with the S10e. I have no need for a bigger screen, no need for a better camera, in-display fingerprint readers and I don’t get along, and curved screens scare me. However, the biggest problem I have with all 3 of them is that name on the back. Samsung. That alone is enough to make me pass entirely.
• I LOVE FLAT SCREEN! S10e for sure.
• My choice is of course my s10+. Super fast, display, cameras & battery for myself, there is no finer. It’s got my vote for phone of the year!
• S10e, it’s compact, has funky colors & gets the job done for me.
