This leaked red Galaxy S20 colorway is hot (Update: New white, blue colors)
Update, February 14, 2020 (4:50 AM ET): Since the reveal of the red Galaxy S20 colorway (see original article below), two other colors have popped up for the new flagships. Samsung Korea has already listed (h/t SamMobile) a Cloud White colorway for Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus.
Meanwhile, the S20 Plus has also been pictured in a deeper blue color on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Here’s what the new colors look like:
There’s no word on when either of the two colorways will be made available in the US and more widely in other markets.
Original article, February 13, 2020 (1 PM ET): Thanks to Pricebaba Daily, we just got a look at some new Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus renders that reveal possible upcoming red device variants. We don’t see the entire smartphones in any of the photos, but we see enough to know these are indeed the devices in question.
What we do see is the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus’ unique rear-camera layouts, the Samsung logo on the back, and the upper right-hand sides of the devices, all of which sport a new dark red coat of paint. These renders don’t reveal the front of the devices, but we don’t expect much, if anything, would change there anyway.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 series only a couple of days ago at its Unpacked 2020 event, but the company made no mention of a red variant. The only official colorways include Cosmic Grey, Cosmic Black, Cloud Pink, and Cloud Blue.

These renders also don’t show a red variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Pricebaba makes no mention of this addition. That being said, we should curb our expectations of Samsung releasing a red Galaxy S20 or S20 Plus at all. These are just rumors at this point, so we need to take this information with a grain of salt.
What’s your favorite Galaxy S20 color? One of the four existing colors, or does this red variant take the cake?
