Redmi K30 Pro tipped to offer bigger battery, faster charging than K30

The Redmi K30 4G made its way to India as the POCO X2 this week, but we’ve been hearing rumors of a Redmi K30 Pro for a few weeks now.

Now, frequent leaker Digital Chat Station has taken to Weibo to claim that the Redmi K30 Pro will offer a 4,700mAh battery and 33W charging. If confirmed, that would mean the device has a slightly bigger battery and faster charging speeds than the Redmi K30 (4,500mAh and 27W respectively).

The apparent battery and charging details come a day after XDA-Developers reported that the Redmi K30 Pro will likely offer a 64MP camera. This was corroborated by Digital Chat Station yesterday as well, claiming that the K30 Pro will offer a 64MP IMX686 sensor in a quad rear camera setup. But the Weibo tipster noted that the lens layout will be slightly different compared to the vanilla K30/POCO X2.

XDA also reports that an upcoming Redmi phone, believed to be the Redmi K30 Pro, is packing a Snapdragon 865 chipset. This all comes together to paint a picture of a flagship-level experience on paper, both in terms of power and in battery life.
