Confirmed: The Redmi Note 11 is launching at the end of October
- Xiaomi has confirmed the Redmi Note 11 will launch on October 28.
- According to teaser images, the phone may feature a quad rear camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and JBL speakers.
The Redmi Note 10 isn’t that long in the tooth, debuting back in March in some parts of the world. However, Xiaomi has now confirmed that its successor, the Redmi Note 11, is landing a little over a week’s time.
In a series of teasers published to Weibo, the company detailed the phone’s launch date as well as its key design elements. For starters, you’ll need to mark October 28 on your calendars. The event kicks off at 7 PM Beijing time (7 AM ET).
As for the Redmi Note 11’s design, the phone appears to have four rear cameras in teaser shots. Also returning is a 3.5mm headphone jack, JBL speakers, and a slightly curved front display.
Redmi didn’t share any specs with the teasers, so we can’t confirm display size, camera details, or chipset. As a benchmark, the Redmi Note 10 landed with a Snapdragon 678 SoC, a quad-camera array with a 48MP main sensor, and a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen.
