Rick and Morty has now started its fifth season on the Adult Swim cable network. The tales of a mad dimension-hopping scientist and his grandson remain as popular as ever. The good news is that you can now stream four seasons of the series on Hulu and HBO Max.

Are there differences between watching Rick and Morty on Hulu and HBO Max?

As a matter of fact, there is one big difference. If you watch Season 4 on Hulu, you will also be able to download those episodes on your mobile device. That is available for Hulu subscribers for its more expensive ad-free plan of $11.99 a month. That way, you can watch the 10 episodes without an internet connection. This feature is not available for Rick and Morty fans on HBO Max.

What is Rick and Morty all about?

Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the show is a very adult animated series centering on Rick Sanchez, a white-haired scientist who goes on tons of space and interdimensional adventures with his grandson Morty Smith. The show is best described as, “What if Back to the Future had no age or special effects limits?” Since it started in 2013, the series has become one of the most acclaimed animated shows ever on Adult Swim. It has also been the source of lots of spin-off merchandise, including comics, mobile games, and more.

Justin Roiland voices both Rick and Morty. In addition, other characters in the show include Morty’s father Jerry, voiced by Chris Parnell, Morty’s mother Beth, voiced by Sarah Chalke, and Morty’s sister Summer, voiced by Spencer Grammer. In addition, a number of well-known actors have voiced guest roles on the series, including Stephen Colbert, Sam Neill, Nathan Fillion, Susan Sarandon, and many more.

When will Rich and Morty Season 5 start?

Season 5 began on the Adult Swim cable on June 20, with 10 episodes slated for the season.

When will Season 5 debut on Hulu and HBO Max?
