Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 appear early on Samsung's official site
- The Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 just leaked — via Samsung.
- Both phones appeared on different localized versions of Samsung.com.
- The pages included low-res photos, but not much else. Still, this means the phones are coming soon.
We have yet to see Samsung launch the next higher-end entries in the Galaxy A series. We expect those phones to be the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, which should both have 5G-capable versions.
However, Samsung jumped the gun a bit by listing the support pages for both phones (h/t Roland Quandt). The support pages don’t have much info on them, but there were low-res photos as well as the confirmed names of these new phones.
As of publishing, you can still see the Samsung Galaxy A52 page here and the A72 page here. The renders of both phones are mirrored in the orange image above. The Galaxy A52 is on the left while the A72 is on the right. Both images line up very well with the previously leaked renders we’ve seen.
The two A-series devices will be the 2021 premium models within Samsung’s mid-range/budget Galaxy A line. They’ll offer a few higher-end specs as compared to the lower-numbered entries in the A-series while still having reasonable price tags. The LTE-locked Galaxy A52, for example, is rumored to cost around €349 (~$422) in Europe, while its 5G counterpart would cost €429 (~$519).
With these listings going live, it’s only a matter of weeks or even days before Samsung announces them.
