Here's our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro (bye bye, beans)
- Evan Blass just pushed out leaked renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro.
- The true wireless earbuds feature a similar design as the original Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Plus. The bean-shaped design of the Galaxy Buds Live is absent.
- The new earbuds will likely debut in January alongside the Galaxy S21 smartphone line.
Frequent leaker Evan Blass (via his Voice page) has given us our first look at the next set of true wireless earbuds from Samsung. We are relatively certain they will be known as the Galaxy Buds Pro. They should be the direct follow-up to the Galaxy Buds Live, which launched earlier in 2020.

Unlike the Buds Live, though, the Buds Pro appear to return to the normal look of Galaxy Buds. The bean-inspired design of the Galaxy Buds Live does not appear in these renders.

It’s unclear if the light purple colorway presented here will be an option at retail. If it is, you can also expect the upcoming smartphones in the Galaxy S21 series to have a matching colorway, as we are certain the Galaxy Buds Pro will launch alongside those phones.
According to earlier leaks, the Buds Pro could come with the same 472mAh case battery capacity as its predecessor. It could also come with active noise cancelation, a feature which the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Plus lacked. This could make them the perfect option for people who want ANC but don’t like the bean design of the Galaxy Buds Live.
