Samsung to unveil its folding Galaxy phone in nine days?
Correction: A previous version of this article stated Samsung had confirmed it would reveal its folding phone. As some of you have pointed out, Samsung does not explicitly state this. I’ve updated the article to reflect this and I apologize for the error.
Samsung may unveil its folding phone, rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy F, at its Galaxy S10 launch event on February 20. Samsung posted the hint on Twitter earlier today following months of speculation that the phone would appear with the S10 series at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event.
The tweet arrived via the official @SamsungMobile account earlier today, which included a short teaser video. It shows some folding designs and says the future of mobile will unfold on February 20. We’ve encountered the imagery seen there previously on Samsung billboards, though it’s not a direct confirmation that Samsung’s folding smartphone will be unveiled there.

There are still lots of unanswered questions regarding the company’s first foldable smartphone, however, including what it will look like, and the all-important price tag.
Current speculation suggests it could cost upwards of $1,500. It’s expected to come with two screens (a non-folding display on the front and a larger, outward-folding display inside), and may include two batteries. Is it time to start getting excited about the foldable future or is it being overhyped? Give me your thoughts in the comments.
