Are these the first real photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8?
About a week ago, Evan Blass introduced us to some renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and, as interesting as renders might be, they don’t give us the complete picture of what a device would look in real life. Thankfully, new leaked photos show us what the next Note might just look like in reality.
The photos, originally posted on MyEverydayTech.com (though the page has since been taken down), show the supposed Midnight Black version of the handset and appear to be pretty much in line with what we’ve seen in Evan’s renders. This includes the fingerprint scanner on the back, next to the dual-camera setup. Also, according to the date on screen, the pictures were taken less than 24 hours ago, so they’re pretty fresh.
What we can see in the new leaked photos is that the Midnight Black Galaxy Note 8 will be a handsome device, however, the number of smudges on both sides of the handset leads us to believe that it could also be a fingerprint magnet. Our guess would be that the rumored Maple Gold variation would pick up the same amount of smudges, but they might be more or less visible due to its lighter tone.
We also got a look at what is believed to be Samsung’s new S-Pen stylus, which looks quite similar to the one found on the Galaxy Note 7, with a button both on the top and side.
It seems like there is little left for Samsung to surprise us with when it unveils the Galaxy Note 8 later this month — but what do you think about how the device is shaping up so far? Make sure to let us know in the comments.
