Poll: Do you think Samsung should kill off the Galaxy Note series?
Rumors have been gaining steam in the last few months that Samsung might kill off the Galaxy Note series in favor of its burgeoning foldable lineup.
These rumors gained some credibility this week when prominent newswire Reuters reported that Samsung has no plans for a Galaxy Note device in 2021. The outlet cited three sources for the claim, with these sources adding that the Galaxy Note’s S-Pen will come to a Galaxy S21 model and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
It would be the end of an era for the Korean brand, as the Galaxy Note lineup played a big part in putting the company on the map. The original Galaxy Note popularized smartphones with a large display, while the S-Pen made for a handy accessory that’s only improved with almost every generation.

There are a few challenges with bringing the S-Pen to foldables though, such as making a foldable screen that’s tough enough to withstand prods from the stylus. But Samsung is presumably hard at work on this issue.
Nevertheless, these rumors have us wondering whether Samsung should indeed kill off the Galaxy Note family. What do you think? You can take our poll further up the page!
