Original: March 25, 2020 (2:30 AM ET): Samsung has announced that it’ll soon roll out a new update for the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series. The new update will bring camera features from the Galaxy S20 series to the two older Samsung flagships.

To start, both the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 will get the S20’s Single Take mode. The mode allows users to capture multiple photos, videos, and GIFs with a single button push. It’s useful for times when you can’t decide if you want to click a picture or record a video. The mode ensures you don’t have to choose and gives you multiple options to play with all at once.

Other features headed to the S10 and Note 10 series include the new Night Hyperlapse mode, the ability to create custom photo filters, and a Pro Video mode which lets users adjust settings like ISO, shutter speed, and exposure levels.

The Gallery app is also getting a new feature called Clean View. It automatically groups together similar shots of the same subject for better organization of images. Apart from this, the Gallery app on the S10 and Note 10 phones will get a Quick Crop feature which allows users to zoom into an image and quickly save a cropped version.

Additionally, both 2019 Galaxy flagships will get Quick Share and Music Share features. This allows users to share files with other nearby users and extend their paired Bluetooth connections while playing music respectively.

Samsung says the new update will roll out in March. The release date and update feature list may vary by market, carrier, and model. Some of the new features like Night Hyperlapse will not be coming to the Note 10 Lite.
