Samsung Galaxy S10 rumored to have three models, biggest may have three cameras
- A new rumor claims the Samsung Galaxy S10 will launch with three different models.
- Each model will reportedly have a different rear camera setup, with the largest to have three camera sensors.
- The Galaxy S10 may launch in the first half of 2019.
It’s time for yet another rumor about the Samsung Galaxy S10, but this one is a bit different than the norm, if true. ETNews (via Ice Universe) reports that Samsung plans to launch three different models of the Galaxy S10 sometime in the first half of 2019, each one with a different rear camera setup.

The report claims that the Galaxy S10 is being developed with the internal code name “Beyond.” According to the story, “Beyond 0” will have a 5.8-inch display and a single rear camera sensor, while “Beyond 1” will have the same display size, but include a dual rear camera. Finally, “Beyond 2” is rumored to have a 6.2-inch display, and have a triple rear camera setup. There’s no word on the size of the megapixels that will be included in these phones.
If this article is accurate, this would be the first time in the history of the Galaxy S series that Samsung would launch three different models of this series at the same time. The article also repeats earlier rumors that the Galaxy S10 could have an in-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, it mentions the many rumors that Samsung will release a separate phone with a foldable display sometime in 2019.
If Samsung is indeed working on a phone with a triple rear camera, it will be interesting to see how similar it will be to the three rear cameras already on the HUAWEI P20 Pro, and how different it might be compared to that flagship phone.
