Here's what #BTSArmy will likely pay for Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition (Update)
Update: June 12, 2020 (03:00 PM ET): We’ve got several good looks at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition, but how much will it cost. Well, according to Roland Quandt on Twitter, the phone will start at €1,049 (~$1,177). To be clear, that will likely include a matching pair of Galaxy Buds Plus and a wireless charger.
Since the vanilla Galaxy S20 Plus goes for $1,199, it appears as though Samsung will be selling a limited edition bundle for the same price as the phone by itself, which is pretty cool.
Oh, and as you may have surmised, the fact that Quandt shared the price in euros likely means the phone will see a global launch. Hopefully, you BTS fans outside of South Korea will get a shot at getting the Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition soon.
Original article, June 3, 2020 (04:57 AM ET): Samsung is gearing up to release a Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition next month, according to a new report out of Korea.
Korean outlet Hankyung (h/t: SamMobile) reports that Samsung is teaming up with French media chain Fnac to release the limited edition phone. More specifically, users will be getting a Galaxy S20 Plus rather than the standard S20 or S20 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition rumors
It’s believed that the Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition will also be packaged with Galaxy Buds Plus earbuds and a themed pouch. Frequent leaker Max Weinbach has shared images of the earbuds, showing a purple colorway and BTS branding on both the earbuds and charging case. Weinbach also revealed an apparent image of the Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition, showing a purple colorway. Check out the pictures of both gadgets below.

A teaser video posted by Samsung on Twitter also confirms a July 9 release date, with pre-orders taking place from June 19 to July 5. There’s no word on launch markets or pricing just yet, but BTS has a big following so you’d expect the firm to launch the model in loads of countries.
Later, frequent (and very reliable leaker) Evan Blass gave us a clearer idea of what the device could look like. Check it out below:
It looks like the Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition will come with the BTS logo on the back as well as on some custom wallpapers. It also appears there will be a custom icon pack that matches the purple colorway. Finally, there appears to be a little pink heart in the camera module, which is pretty cute.
Either way, you’re getting a pretty stacked phone if you buy the Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition. The S20 Plus offers flagship power, 5G, 8K video recording, the ability to grab 33MP snaps from 8K video, and a variety of cameras. You’re also getting IP68 water/dust resistance and wireless charging, as expected from Samsung’s flagships.
