- YouTuber Sakitech shared a single photo of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and S21 Plus.
- He says Samsung could announce the series as soon as January 14.
- He also claims Samsung will price the phones more aggressively.
By this point, you’re probably tired of seeing CAD renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 series and want to know how the phones look in real life. Thankfully, YouTuber Sakitech has shared a single photo of the S21 Ultra and S21 Plus next to one another. You can see the image in the video below. Just keep in mind what we’re looking at are likely pre-production devices. He also shared some tidbits about the phones, most of which we’ve heard in past leaks.
To start, he says Samsung will announce its new S-series lineup on and around January 14, with pre-orders reportedly opening that same day. Sakitech also notes the company will price the lineup more aggressively. He doesn’t source his information, but it broadly corroborates earlier reports.
He then turns to each phone’s camera setup. The S21 Ultra will feature a quad camera system made up of a 108MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide camera and not one but two telephoto cameras, one with 3x optical zoom and another with 10x optical zoom. As for the S21 Plus, Sakitech says it will include a 12MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 64MP telephoto lens. The regular-sized S21 will have a matching camera setup. Again, this is information we’ve heard before, so the interesting thing here is to see how the S21’s new camera bump looks in real life. What do you think, does it change your opinion of the new design Samsung has gone with?
