Premature Galaxy S21 FE unboxing video tells us almost everything
- A YouTuber has prematurely posted a Galaxy S21 FE unboxing video.
- The clip confirms the spec sheet as well as the design of the device once again.
We’ve seen a flood of leaks regarding the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE already, with the phone expected to arrive next month. Now, a Vietnamese YouTuber has prematurely posted a Galaxy S21 FE unboxing video, giving us a good look at the device and sharing some specs.
The video was spotted by Twitter user @chunvn8888 (h/t: r/Android) and has since been made private. Fortunately for us, the Twitter user managed to download the video beforehand and share it anyway.
True to earlier user manual leaks, the package doesn’t contain a charging adapter (only offering a USB cable). But what about the phone itself?
Well, the YouTuber notes that the Galaxy S21 FE back is plastic, in line with the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21. He also confirms the 6.4-inch 120Hz OLED screen (1,200 nits peak brightness), One UI 4.0 atop Android 12, and the triple rear camera system. Expect to find a 12MP main shooter, 12MP ultrawide camera (123-degree field-of-view), and 8MP 3X telephoto lens (with 30X digital zoom). A 32MP camera handles selfies and video calls, according to the clip.
The YouTuber also states that the phone is equipped with an Exynos 2100 SoC, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, 128GB to 256GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging. We’re guessing that the North American variant will arrive with the Snapdragon 888 chipset instead.
It seems like all that’s left is for Samsung to announce pricing and availability details then. We’d love to see the S21 FE match the Pixel 6‘s $600 price tag, but we’re guessing that a $700 RRP seems more likely.
