Samsung Galaxy S21 series: Hot or not? (Poll)
The Samsung Galaxy S21 flagships are finally official. The new phones represent the best that Samsung has to offer in 2021 and also further close the gap with the Galaxy Note series. You get best-in-class cameras, powerful processing, a bunch of new colorways, oodles of RAM, and even S Pen support at the top end.
This year, Samsung has also done a good job of pricing its flagships, bringing down the entry-level cost of the Galaxy S21 series to just $799. That’s a $200 decrease compared to the $999 price of the standard Galaxy S20 model when it launched last year. In that much money, you can now get the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus with a sweet spec sheet, including a 6.7-inch flat display, triple rear cameras, a 4,800mAh battery, 5G support, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
Our first impressions: Samsung Galaxy S21 series — cheaper, but are they better?
That said, not all Galaxy S21 models are made equal. For instance, S Pen support is only available on the most premium Galaxy S21 Ultra, and so is Samsung’s quad-camera setup with the second generation 108MP sensor.
A common missing feature from all the S series flagships this year is the lack of a microSD card slot, so say goodbye to expandable storage. Another cut that might make some customers unhappy is the omission of the charging adapter and earphones from the box of all the Galaxy S21 phones. But are any of these factors dealbreakers for you?
