If these Galaxy S27 Ultra renders are accurate, Samsung can't stop Apple copycat claims

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 series early next year, and we’ve already heard a few rumors about the new phones. However, the latest leak may have given us a good look at the Galaxy S27 Ultra itself.

Tipster Sonny Dickson posted apparent Galaxy S27 Ultra renders on X, showing a major departure from the Galaxy S26 Ultra design. Check out the images below.

The images show a phone with a camera bump similar to the iPhone 17 Pro camera housings. That means we’ve got a camera plateau here, stretching across the back of the phone. Apple wasn’t the first brand to adopt such a design (Xiaomi and others offered wide camera plateaus years ago), but it can’t be a coincidence that Samsung might be taking this route.

Otherwise, the pictures show a pill-shaped cutout on the plateau, which is ostensibly for a secondary camera and flash. We also see a circular cutout on the rear cover, suggesting that the phone will have integrated magnets for Qi2 wireless charging and accessories.

Dickson also claims that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will be available in “two different sizes.” We previously heard that the Galaxy S27 Pro was on the cards and could be a compact flagship with some Ultra features. So we’re guessing the tipster is referring to this rumored Pro model.
