Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 line to get Wireless Dex, faster S-Pen
- Detailed specs and features pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 duo have leaked.
- The new spill corroborates earlier rumors of huge batteries and 120Hz displays.
- Both tablets are set to include improved S-Pens with Wireless Dex support.
Just days after a Galaxy Note 20 leak spilled alleged specs and the first glamor shots of the forthcoming duo, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus have now been showcased in the most definitive leak to date.
While we’ve seen a plethora of teasers relating to Samsung’s flagship tablet line, WinFuture‘s latest reveal seemingly confirms a multitude of specifications and features.
Galaxy Tab S7 vs Galaxy Tab S7 Plus: The differences
Per the report, the two devices will largely differ in terms of display technology, size, and battery capacity. Beyond this, expect similar internal specifications.
The Galaxy Tab S7 will reportedly use an 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 7,040mAh battery will be used in the tablet’s slightly lighter but thicker body when compared to its more premium sibling. These figures have also been mentioned in previous rumors.

Speaking of which, the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus allegedly gets a bigger 12.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,752. The 120Hz refresh rate feature also makes an appearance with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The massive 10,090mAh pack is mentioned here, again corroborating earlier leaks.
Wireless Dex, better S-Pen, and more
WinFuture believes both tablets will employ the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset with 6GB of LPDDR5X RAM and at least 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot reportedly returns on both while 5G support can also be expected.
At the rear, both Galaxy Tab S7 models will reportedly feature a 13MP primary camera with a 5MP ultra-wide lens. There’s an 8MP camera up front.
Like the Galaxy Note 20 series, the tablets may feature a tweaked S-Pen with lower latency resulting in a more pen-like writing feel. Air Gestures are also set to make an appearance on the tablets.
For productivity fiends, Samsung may bundle a new keyboard cover with a larger trackpad and full-sized buttons. Wireless Dex, a feature that was first rumored to arrive on the Galaxy Note 20 line, will reportedly also come to the Galaxy Tab S7 duo too. This should allow users to project their tablet screens to a larger supported display without cables.
Pricing and availability
There’s no word on pricing or availability just yet, but WinFuture did provide possible colorways. There will reportedly be Mystic Silver and Mystic White options joining the Mystic Bronze variants spotted in prior leaks.
Expect both tablets to be showcased alongside Samsung’s other wares on August 5.
