Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Buds hi-res renders spotted
Tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) has given us potentially our best look yet at some of Samsung’s upcoming wearables. Following a leak earlier today from Samsung’s Galaxy Wearable app, we now have hi-resolution images of two of the three suspected new products.
The Galaxy Watch Active sports watch is seen in Black, Silver, and Rose Gold, with several watch faces (a couple of which we’ve seen before). They look pretty slick and are said to pack a heart-rate monitor, NFC, and arrive running Samsung’s Tizen 4.0 smartwatch OS.

Meanwhile, we get a potentially closer look at Samsung’s upcoming true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds in white, as well as their dual charging/storage case. Speculation suggests the earbuds will come with 8GB of internal memory and Bluetooth 5.0 support, while DroidShout today suggested they’d each pack 58mAh capacity battery, and the charging case would include a 252mAh battery. That would be a comparatively small charge case battery for true-wireless headphones, if the information is accurate.
We’re still yet to get a better look at Samsung’s rumored fitness band, the Galaxy Fit/Galaxy Fit E that we talk about here, but we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
As for when we’re expected to see these products launch, Samsung has an event scheduled for February 20 where it will unveil its new flagships smartphones. Perhaps we’ll see the rumored wearables there too.
