Samsung promises to complete One UI 5 rollout in the next 4 days
- Samsung has revealed that the One UI 5 rollout will be completed by the end of the year.
- The company added that this was its fastest One UI rollout yet.
Samsung has done a great job of pushing out the Android 13-based One UI 5 update to its various devices, with flagships, mid-rangers, and more all receiving the new Android skin.
Now, the company has issued a post on its Newsroom website, claiming that the One UI 5 release was its fastest rollout yet. More specifically, Samsung said it managed to push One UI 5 to over 46 devices in less than two months (as of December 9).
The Korean brand also used the post to reveal that it’s aiming to complete the One UI 5 rollout by the end of the year — in four days if we include today (December 28). In other words, you won’t have long to wait if you have an eligible device but haven’t received the new Android update just yet.
Has your Samsung phone received One UI 5 yet?
Some of the most prominent devices now running One UI 5 include the Galaxy S20 series and later, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip and later, Galaxy Z Fold 2 and newer, and several Galaxy A and M series phones.
In any event, Samsung’s new software skin brings a number of features to the table. This includes more personalization options, Modes and Routines functionality, a smart suggestions widget, text extraction from images/screens, and more. The news also comes after it emerged that One UI 5.1 might be in testing right now.
