The Galaxy S25 and Z7 series are joining Samsung’s stable One UI 9 rollout

Samsung has been rolling out One UI 9 in stages across its flagship lineup, with the Galaxy S26 series getting first dibs before the rollout widened beyond Korea. Now, Samsung is opening the door to more of its 2025 flagships, as stable Android 17 is reaching the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in Korea.

For the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, the stable release is arriving with firmware version S93xNKSUCDZIF. According to screenshots shared by leaker Tarun Vats on X, beta testers are seeing a download of roughly 535MB, while users coming straight from Android 16 and One UI 8.5 are getting a much larger package. A Galaxy S25 Ultra screenshot we’ve seen shows the same stable build weighing 3,851.56MB.

That difference makes sense. Beta testers already have most of One UI 9 installed, so they only need the smaller package required to move onto the stable branch. Users who skipped the beta have to download the full Android 17-based update.

Samsung is also rolling out stable One UI 9 to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in Korea. For now, reports indicate that rollout is reaching devices enrolled in the beta program. The Fold 7 update weighs 534.56MB and carries firmware version F966NKSUCCZIH.

The update screens list the September 5, 2026 security patch, while the beta-to-stable update includes a notice confirming the One UI 9 beta program has ended, and the regular update opens with Samsung’s standard One UI 9 introduction and Galaxy AI messaging.

The Fold 7 and Flip 7 only entered Samsung’s One UI 9 beta program earlier this month, alongside the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung had previously confirmed that these devices would be among the next models to receive One UI 9 after the Galaxy S26 family. Stable One UI updates typically begin their rollout in Samsung’s home market of South Korea before rolling out to the rest of the world. Prominent markets like the US are part of the beta testing regions, so the update should arrive in the US sooner rather than later.

Samsung still hasn’t updated its Korean software update pages for the Galaxy S25 series, Z Fold 7, and Z Flip 7 with the new stable firmware details as of this writing. We expect those pages to catch up as the rollout progresses.
