Video: Samsung's upcoming tablet and smartwatch revealed in new teaser
Everyone is waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to drop on August 7, but Samsung has a couple of devices launching ahead of its flagship. The company teased two new pieces of hardware that will arrive July 31 and August 5 in a new video posted to its website.
The video shows the outlines of several different items. First, the camera pans around what appears to be a tablet. Samsung is widely expected to reveal the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 any moment, and this is most likely it. We see a slim metal design, contact pins for a dock or accessories, and the famed Samsung S Pen stylus. Interestingly, the S Pen is shown adhered to the side of the tablet. It could attach to the exterior magnetically, similar to how the Apple Pencil attaches to the Apple iPad Pro (2018.) The camera also flies past a keyboard, which is probably an add-on Samsung will offer with the Galaxy Tab S6.
The second device is clearly a watch, the expected Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. The wearable looks stylish, from what little we can see of it in the video. Other than a few buttons and what looks to be a leather strap, an optical heart rate monitor is plainly visible, as is a USB-C charging port.

In the video’s description, Samsung said the devices will “cater to the generation that wants the power to create and consume wherever they are.”
Samsung will unveil the two new devices on the Galaxy website on July 31 (Galaxy Tab S6) and August 5 (Galaxy Watch) respectively.
