It’s also among the best when it comes to presentation capabilities, allowing you to share files, PowerPoints, and your screen, quickly and easily. How to share your screen on a Microsoft Teams call on desktop

When in a Microsoft Teams call, click Share at the top right corner next to the red Leave button.

You will have a lot of screen-sharing options available. You can share your entire screen, or pick and choose specific apps windows, active Chrome tabs, and Edge tabs to share. There’s the option to share PowerPoint presentations and other files from your computer.

You can also set up the presentation mode (whether you want to be on-camera or not during the screen share) and choose to share your computer audio.

Share your screen on a Teams mobile call

If you’re in a Microsoft Teams call on the mobile app, tap the three horizontal dots icon next to the hang-up button and tap Share. You will have the option to share photos and videos, share a PowerPoint, share a whiteboard, or share your screen with or without device audio. There aren’t any presenter mode options on the mobile app.

You don’t have to be in a call to share your screen and can also share it in a Teams chat. Click the share icon at the top right corner next to the call button.

You can share your entire screen or specific windows, apps, and folders that are open. The chat share screen options are limited compared to what you can do in a call. You won’t be able to share your screen in a chat when using the mobile app.

Why can’t I share my screen on Teams?

The person who started the call or the team administrator has control over who can or cannot share their screen. If you aren’t able to, contact the person in charge and ask them to give you the required permissions.
