How important is smartphone audio to you? (Poll of the Week)
After switching back and forth between Pixels running Android Pie and Android Q, I look down at the OnePlus 6 on my desk with temptation. Boy, do I miss having a headphone jack.
Yeah, it’s one of those things I can live without, but that doesn’t mean I want to live without it. Lots of other Android Authority readers share my feelings on this too.
The headphone jack is only half the story when talking about smartphone audio, though. How do its speakers sound? Are they loud? Omnidirectional? Or are they muffled and bottom-firing? For me, speaker quality is still much more important than whether or not a phone has a headphone jack.
Now that our own Adam Molina published a video (linked below) on smartphone audio, I thought now would be as good a time as ever to ask you, dear reader: how important is smartphone audio to you? Is it the main area you look for in a new smartphone, or do you not care? Let us know in the poll below.
