Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is a new card-based RPG from EA, coming later this year

E3 2015 is in full swing and while the event has traditionally focused more on PC and console gaming, we are actually seeing some pretty intriguing mobile gaming news as well. The latest announcement comes from Electronic Arts, which revealed plans for a new Star Wars mobile game during its E3 press conference.

Dubbed Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, the upcoming game is a card-based RPG that takes place over the course of events from the original and prequel trilogies. Just like any card-based game, the object is to collect characters, ships, and other cards in order to make your deck as powerful as possible.

While not quite as exciting as KotR, Star Wars fans will want to keep an eye out for this one when it arrives later this year on Google Play. We’ll be sure to update our readers as soon as we learn more concrete details on what to expect.
