This handy service makes it possible to receive real-time notifications even when not using a Samsung app. Push notifications are the same technology used by pretty much all apps that send notifications when you get a message or activity signal. In this case, Samsung Push Service handles push notifications for all Samsung services. These include Samsung Pay, Link, Messages, Galaxy Store, Pass, Email, Internet, and others.

Sadly, it also makes it possible for Samsung to throw unnecessary ads at you, clogging up your screen, notification area, and more. Samsung Push Service also has the fame of being a resource hog, depleting batteries faster while working really hard in the background. It’s time to keep it in check.

How to disable Samsung Push Service notifications

Is it worth getting rid of Samsung Push Service? Sadly, you probably shouldn’t if you rely heavily on Samsung services and apps, as you’ll also lose push notifications from other apps you need. We’ll show you how it’s done if you don’t care much for Samsung’s native apps, though.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap on Notifications.
3. Select More.
4. Go into Samsung Push Service.
5. Toggle off the Show notifications option.
6. You can also go into Notification categories and select what you want to go through. Toggle off Marketing.

How to disable deals and offers from other Samsung apps

Samsung Push Service is only one of the company’s ways to get advertising to your device. It might still find ways to bug you with other ads, so let’s help you eliminate them. Here’s how to stop ads from popping up on your Samsung from other apps.

Disable Samsung Wallet deals and offers:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go into Notifications.
3. Tap on Included apps.
4. Find Samsung Wallet.
5. You can toggle off Allow notifications here.

How to disable Samsung Galaxy Themes deals and offers:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go into Apps.
3. Find Galaxy Themes and select it.
4. Tap on Notifications.
5. Toggle off the Show notifications option.
6. You can also go into Notification categories and select what you want to go through.

Disable Galaxy Store deals and offers:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go into Apps.
3. Find Galaxy Store and select it.
4. Tap on Notifications.
5. You can’t toggle off the Show notifications option. Instead, go into Notification categories to pick and choose which ones you want on/off.

Disable personalized Samsung ads:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap on your Samsung account section.
3. Go into Security and privacy.
4. Select Customization Service.
5. Toggle off the Customized ads and direct marketing option.
