A mysterious soldier named Desmond Hart returns from Arrakis with unexplained powers granted by the sandworms. The first episode culminates in Hart using these powers to murder a young noble boy and simultaneously kill a Sisterhood advisor named Kasha from afar. The show features Emperor Javicco as an indecisive ruler and explores the early development of the Sisterhood’s abilities, including the first use of “the Voice” by Valya Harkonnen.
