T-Mobile REVVL T1 leaked in photos, release date confirmed by carrier
Although we’ve had the initial scoop on the T-Mobile REVVL series, leaker Evan Blass beat us to the punch this time. Yesterday, he posted a couple of live photos of the REVVL T1 on his Twitter account.
In an unusual move, T-Mobile actually confirmed the authenticity of the photos, as well as the release date of the REVVL T1. When a user asked where they can get one, tagging @TMobileHelp, the Uncarrier went ahead and answered.
The REVVL T1 will be available starting tomorrow, August 10. It will cost you $125 at full price. You can also get it with an equipment installment plan for $5 down and additional $5 a month or $0 down and $5 a month with JUMP! On Demand.
Looking at the REVVL T1, we have to admit that the handset looks pretty sleek. On the front, we can see a pretty decent screen-to-body ratio for a mid-ranger, front-firing stereo speakers, and a dedicated selfie flash. The back, which is somewhat reminiscent of the gorgeous HTC U11, holds the fingerprint scanner embedded in a circular home button. Overall, the design of the REVVL T1 is nothing groundbreaking, but it does look pretty good.
In terms of specs, the REVVL T1 will be a strictly mid-range handset, as confirmed by its official support page. It will come with a MediaTek MT6738 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. The 5.5-inch display will feature a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The rear camera will make use of a 13 MP sensor, while the selfie snapper will employ a 5 MP one. Overall, this appears to be a decent handset for its price.
