But don’t expect fancy features showing up after the update has concluded. This is more of a maintenance-focused update. Here are the main improvements:
- Enhanced voice services
- Samsung Pay updates
- Various system improvements
Among the “various system improvements” is said to be a bug fix that has been pestering Galaxy S7 users for some time. We actually listed it in a post regarding common issues with these handsets, along with a workaround that allowed you to fix the issue temporarily.
Users have been reporting unresponsive buttons. Namely, the power and volume down keys. This OTA update is said to smash this bug and offer a smoother experience.
Remember these updates don’t always roll out immediately for everyone. Some of you may have to wait a bit more, but you are free to check for updates in the settings.
Have any of you gotten it yet? It would be great if you could share your experience in the comments.
