Telltale Games launches huge summer sale — save up to 75% on select titles

Telltale Games has launched a “mobile summer sale,” discounting many titles from its most famous game series. Until August 31, you’ll be able to get your hands on episodes from its The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones adventure game sets all at a reduced price.

It’s reduced with an asterisk, however, as in many cases these are still expensive for single episode mobile titles (is Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 at $14.99 really a discount?). Thankfully, with many of the bigger titles below, you can play the first episode for free.

• The Walking Dead: Season One (with 400 Days DLC) — $6.99 per episode
• The Walking Dead: Season Two — $6.99 per episode
• The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — episode one: $4.99, remaining episodes: $6.99
• The Walking Dead: Michonne — episode one: $4.99, remaining episodes: $3.99
• The Wolf Among Us — $6.99 per episode
• Batman: The Telltale Series — episode one: $4.99, remaining episodes $6.99
• Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series — $9.99 per episode
• Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series — episode one: $4.99, remaining episodes: $10.99
• Minecraft: Story Mode — episodes 2-5: $6.99, episodes 6-8: $5.99, remaining episodes: $11.99

Telltale Games is still something of a small studio and there are known compatibility issues with some of its games on some devices. Check the minimum requirements and supported devices information on the Play Store pages for these titles if you’re unsure before making a purchase.
