TIDAL music streaming app now supports Chromecast
Do we have any TIDAL users around? It’s a music streaming service we don’t talk about too often, but it is a great option and happens to be in our list of the 10 best music streaming services. And now you can also enjoy it on your TV or sound system through Google Cast.
The latest update takes the app to version 1.11.0. It comes with Play Queue improvements and the usual array of bug fixes, but we know you will be more excited about the addition of Chromecast support.
If you haven’t heard of TIDAL, it is popular among audiophiles and music enthusiasts. This is thanks to their high fidelity, CD-quality sound, which can be enjoyed by paying for the $19.99 subscription. You can also enjoy standard quality audio by signing up for their $9.99 basic tier.
Their library has over 40 million songs and 130,000 high quality videos, as well as exclusive content. The company is also known for offering the highest percentage of royalties to artists, making it the best option for those who really want to support content creators.
The service does offer 30-day free trials, so you can also go check it out for a while if you are not sure about using it yet. But just out of curiosity – how many of you use TIDAL? Hit the comments to let us know.
Happy casting!
