Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge update now rolling out in the UK
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge owners in the UK are currently receiving a maintenance update for their devices that brings better touch response and camera fixes. It seems to be the same software update that rolled out earlier this week to Galaxy owners in the U.S. and China, although the build number is slightly newer.
Unlocked and carrier-branded Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge’s in the UK are receiving the update, which brings “shape correction for skewed photos” and stability improvements including better palm touch rejection. The April security patches have also been loaded into the Galaxy S7 update and it also enables Wi-Fi calling on EE (which will be automatically enabled during the update).
As always, the update will arrive over the air of its own accord, but if you want to grab it manually, just head to Settings > About device > Download updates manually. For the UK, the build numbers are G930FXXU1APD3 for the Galaxy S7 and G935FXXU1APD3 for the Galaxy S7 Edge.
Let us know when you get the update and what you think of the improvements.
