Updated Samsung Kids Store now offers over 900 apps for children
Samsung has just released an update to the Kids Store that is found in the Kids Mode on the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Tab S. The update brings the store to over 900 fun and educational apps specially selected for children.
Apps in the Samsung Kids Store have been categorized into three subjects: learning, play and story. They have also been grouped for children 0-4 years old, 5-6 and 7+.
Samsung says they are committed to providing safe, interesting and educational content to children, especially since the average age at which children are first picking up smart devices is lower than ever. Indeed, there is a three year old in my world that has mastered Bad Piggies.
The Samsung Kids Store contains free and paid applications. The ‘brand zone’ in the app provides premium content from the likes of PBS Kids, Cupcake Digital and more. Make sure to check it out, there are free gifts in there worth over $50 that can be used to purchase more apps, like Sprinkle Island and from LEGO.
Since its release on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 last October, have you been using the Kids Store to control your child’s smart device experience?
