Vodafone customers in the UK can now get free access to Amazon Prime Video
- Vodafone UK has added Amazon Prime Video to the entertainment choices on its Red Entertainment Plan.
- Customers can now choose from either Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, Sky Sports Mobile TV, or Now TV.
- The offer is open to new customers or existing customers yet to choose a subscription service.
Vodafone customers in the U.K. on its Red Entertainment Plan can now get a free subscription to Amazon Prime Video. This means up to 24 months of free access to the thousands of TV shows and films available on the platform.
The Red Entertainment Plan gives customers unlimited minutes and texts, the choice of either 30GB or 40GB of data, and a free subscription to an entertainment streaming service. Previously, you could choose from either Spotify, Now TV, or Sky Sports Mobile TV. Amazon Prime Video has now been added as a fourth option.
It is available for new customers or existing customers who are yet to choose an entertainment option. The Red Entertainment Plan can either be bought alongside a phone or as a SIM only deal on a 12-month contract.
Customers will also be able to watch Amazon Prime Video abroad with Vodafone Global Roaming which allows customers to use their data plan at no extra cost in 48 different countries. As with a regular Prime Video subscription, you can watch on any device, not just on your phone.
If you already have Amazon Prime, before you cancel your subscription you should remember that Amazon Prime Video doesn’t include all the benefits of Amazon Prime such as free postage for Amazon products.
Amazon Prime Video is one of our top video streaming apps for Android. However, we also love Spotify and at 9.99 pounds, it is slightly more expensive than Amazon Prime Video (5.99 pounds), so it might be a better deal for you. Either way, Vodafone Red Entertainment Plan customers definitely have a tough decision to make.
