Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest now available on the Play Store (Update)
Update, May 30, 2019 (11:45PM EST): Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is now available on the Google Play Store. The game comes in at 93MB.
Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is a free-to-play game, so expect in-app purchases that range from $0.99 to $99.99. It appears to be a kingdom builder game with a Warhammer skin, so fans of games like Game of War will likely enjoy this game.
Original article, February 14, 2019 (7:00PM EST): Games Workshop, in partnership with studios Tilting Point and Hunted Cow, announced today that Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Taking place in the pre-40,000 Warhammer universe, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is a tactical strategy game that puts you in the shoes of a Chaos Lord. As Chaos Lord, you invade and conquer kingdoms with your daemonic troops and Chaos Champions.
With your troops and Chaos Champions, you can also construct temples to build up your own empire. These temples help you research skills for your Chaos Champions, with other buildings used to raise your defenses.
Finally, you can play either by yourself or with up to 49 other players. The PvE battles garner resources that you can use later, though there’s also a PvP mode where you fight other players for those resources.
Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is currently in open beta in the Philippines and Indonesia. Given the in-app purchases, the game could launch as a free-to-play title. That said, the game will launch in the U.S. and other regions sometime this year.
You can pre-register Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest at the link below. Pre-registration bonuses include a Warlord Pack and Warpstones.
