Where is South Park streaming?
For over 20 years, the animated and very adult TV series South Park has been making us laugh and occasionally think. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny, along with all the rest of the citizens of South Park, Colorado, have been a huge part of pop culture history. So, where is South Park streaming on the internet for consumption on our phones, computers, or smart TVs? Here’s where you can find South Park streaming on your preferred device. That includes the upcoming South Park Paramount Plus movies.
How to watch South Park streaming
You can watch nearly all the episodes from the show’s 23 seasons, without commercials, on the new HBO Max streaming service. That includes the recently launched one-hour Pandemic and Vaccination Specials. In addition, when new episodes of South Park premiere on the Comedy Central cable TV network, they will appear on HBO Max 24 hours later.
You can sign up for HBO Max, starting at $9.99 a month, at the link below:
Is South Park on Hulu?
Unfortunately, no. The series was available on Hulu for several years, but the new deal with HBO Max is now the only way to watch the show (legally) without commercials.
Can I watch the show for free?
You can watch nearly all the show’s episodes for free on the South Park Studios website. You will have to deal with commercials while streaming the episodes via the website, but hey, it’s free. You won’t be able to watch these episodes via streaming devices or smart TVs, however.
Is it true that some episodes of the show are not available to watch online?
Yes. Three episodes are not available to watch (legally) on HBO Max or the South Park Studios website. They are “Super Best Friends” from season 5 and “200” and 201″ from season 14. In addition, two more episodes, “Cartoon Wars Part One” and “Cartoon Wars Part Two” from season 10, are not on HBO Max, but you can still watch them on the South Park Studios website. All five depict Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, which some people believe should not be depicted in any form of media.
Upcoming South Park movies on Paramount Plus
Earlier in 2021, Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a new deal with ViacomCBS to keep them working on South Park for several more years. That includes the series itself being renewed for Comedy Central up to its 30th season in 2027. However, the deal also includes new South Park movies that will drop exclusively on ViacomCBS’s Paramount Plus streaming service.
The new deal means that Parker and Stone will make 14 South Park movies for Paramount Plus. The first two of those movies should debut on the service sometime later in 2021. Again, these movies are separate from the new Comedy Central South Park seasons that will start dropping (hopefully) shortly.
