- The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has appeared in multiple leaks, including an unboxing video.
- The phone could launch at Xiaomi’s planned March 29 “Mega Launch” event.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is one of the most anticipated phones right now because it’s expected to offer solid specs and the Mi 11‘s design aesthetics in a more affordable package. After a series of leaks, the phone has now appeared in an early unboxing video.
Moreover, a tipster has also outed the complete specs of the device, leaving little to the imagination. Here’s what the new leaks reveal.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite unboxing video and specs leak
Tecnosell has listed the Mi 11 Lite for sale on its platform. The Italian retailer has also posted an unboxing video of the phone on YouTube.
The eight-minute-long clip shows a sky blue colorway of the Mi 11 Lite that resembles previously leaked renders.
The plastic film pasted on top of the display reveals that this is a 4G model. It mentions some key specs, including the Snapdragon 732G chipset, 64MP triple cameras, and a 90Hz OLED display.
These specs, along with others, were also recently corroborated by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on Twitter. You can view them in his tweet pasted below.
Besides the 4G model, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is also rumored to come in a 5G avatar packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 series chipset. We don’t know if the rest of the specs of the 5G model will remain the same as its 4G-only sibling. However, we might not have to wait long to find out.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite launch date
Xiaomi has announced a “Mega Launch” event for March 29 at 7:30 PM GMT+8 (7:30 AM ET). The company hasn’t revealed any specifics, but given the intensifying leaks, we expect to see new Mi 11 series phones on the date, including the Mi 11 Lite.
We also expect Xiaomi to launch the Mi 11 Ultra at the event. We previously saw the phone in an early hands-on video, revealing its unique secondary screen enmeshed with the rear camera module.
