Xiaomi Mi 9 global pricing and availability: Who wants a flagship for under 500 euros?
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is finally official, and it packs plenty of features into its shiny frame. Whether it’s the Snapdragon 855 chipset, triple rear camera setup, or in-display fingerprint sensor, the phone hits all the expected notes.
But when it comes to Xiaomi, price is just as (if not more) important than specifications. So with that in mind, we delve into the Xiaomi Mi 9 price, release date, and availability.
Mi 9 price: Global
When it comes to global details, the company used its Barcelona event to confirm that the Mi 9 would be available starting from 449 euros. Pre-orders start today (February 28) in France, Italy, and Spain. Check out the pricing below.

Price: China
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Chinese launch on February 20 gave away Chinese pricing and availability, with the phone being available from 2,999 yuan (~$445). You can find Chinese pricing for the various models below.

- 8GB/128GB — 3,299 yuan (~$490)
Xiaomi has confirmed plans to launch a transparent edition, dubbed, well, the Transparent Edition. This Xiaomi Mi 9 variant, which is a China-only model for now, packs 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and costs 3,999 yuan (~$595).
In addition to the Mi 9, the company also launched the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. This model offers a Snapdragon 712 chipset, 5.97-inch OLED screen, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a triple rear camera (48MP+8MP+13MP). The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, which features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, sells for 1,999 yuan (~$300). A 6GB/128GB variant is also available and will set you back 2,299 yuan (~$342). In Europe, pricing starts at 350 euros.
