Leaked Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 photo reveals rear design and metallic blue variant
- A potential Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 photo has appeared online revealing its rear design.
- The smartphone appears to have much in common with its predecessor, the Mi Mix 2S.
- The photo suggests the phone will be available in at least two colors.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 appears to have leaked once again as we’ve spotted a new photo (above) potentially revealing the back of the phone. The photo, posted on SlashLeaks earlier today, shows off two models: one with a similar black color scheme as the Mix 2S, and another with a previously unseen dark/metallic blue color.
If the leak is legit, this would mean the Mix 3’s rear closely resembles the Mi Mix 2S’, seen below. It would, however, be a little less square, and with the ‘Mix’ branding on its lower back.
The photo also suggests the Mix 3 would arrive with USB Type-C connectivity, what looks like a ceramic body, and a rear fingerprint scanner. This would pretty much rule out an in-display fingerprint sensor — something which, given the series’ typical focus on cutting-edge features, was a distinct possibility. It could still be included as an alternative method, but it’s unlikely.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has confirmed the Mi Mix 3 will have 10GB of RAM and 5G support, while a likely rumor pegs it as packing a Snapdragon 845 chip.
