Like the Note 10S, the Watch isn’t an unknown quantity. It made its debut in November 2020 in China bringing a minimalist design, a 1.4-inch face, and a price of 299 yuan (~$46) to the table.

Original article: May 3, 2021 (3:05 AM ET): Xiaomi started teasing the arrival of a new Redmi phone in India just last week. It turns out the company is getting ready to launch the Redmi Note 10S in the country.

The smartphone has already launched globally and features a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset handles performance on the Redmi Note 10S and a recent leak suggested that the phone will launch in India in three configurations — 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The phone also boasts a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

There’s a quad-camera setup on the global version of the Redmi Note 10S, featuring a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device also includes a 13MP selfie sensor. We expect these specs to remain the same on the India version of the phone.

The Redmi Note 10S should be priced somewhere between the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro in India. It starts at $229 (~Rs 16,993) globally, so that should give you a sense of the pricing you can expect in India.
